Tony DeLois
Co-Principal, Chief Operating Officer
Tony has been running Uncommon Hospitality since it was founded in 2015.  Tony oversees all hotel operations and works daily with on-property General Managers to guide revenue management strategies and guest relations policies. He has a long history in the hospitality industry, having most recently been a disciple of Danny Meyer at Union Square Hospitality Group.  Prior to that, he built an impressive chef's resume at San Francisco's Delfina and then New York City's il Buco.
Tony graduated from Colorado College in 2004, has earned certifications from Cornell School of Hotel Management, and currently lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with his wife, Liz, son, Asher, and daughter, June.
Nate DeLois
Co-Principal, Chief Financial Operator
Nate joined Uncommon Hospitality in 2017 and is responsible for the financial well-being of the Uncommon Hospitality portfolio. Prior to becoming CFO, Nate was the lead developer on the historic preservation project that became The Francis. Before entering the world of hospitality, Nate had worked in commercial real estate brokerage and development for 15 years and spent a few years as an accounting software consultant. Nate has been a licensed commercial real estate broker since 2002 and is the main lead for new business development and real estate projects. 
Nate graduated from Hamilton College in 2000 and currently lives in Yarmouth, Maine with his wife, Melissa, daughter, Lucy, and son, Jackson.
Allie Gill
Director of Marketing
Allie joined the Uncommon Hospitality team in 2020 after relocating to Maine from Australia. Allie looks after the brand, voice and identity of each hotel in the Uncommon portfolio and creates strategic marketing plans to drive awareness, online traffic and room occupancy. Allie utilizes email marketing, organic social media, Facebook & Instagram advertising, Google Ads, SEO, content marketing, influencer management & media events, local partnerships and more to introduce guests to the hotels and ensure they return again and again. 
Allie attended American University in Washington, DC and the University of Technology, Sydney, studied abroad in Rome, completed online courses with Harvard Business School and Cornell University and now lives in South Portland with her husband, Ciaran.
Melissa DeLois
Spa Program Coordinator
Melissa has been in the spa and wellness industry for 20 years, having graduated from The Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Charlotte, NC in 2003. After spending many of those years working as a Licensed Massage Therapist, she opened The Spa at The Francis Hotel in 2017 and ran it as Spa Director until Spring 2022. At that time, Melissa's resources were needed to help oversee the development of new spas for Uncommon Hospitality's portfolio of existing and upcoming hotels. As Spa Program Coordinator, Melissa is able to tap into her experience to plan new spas while curating offerings and training the talented staff at Uncommon's existing spas.
Melissa lives in Yarmouth with her husband, Nate, and their two amazing children. 
Orlando Melado
Financial Coordinator
Orlando joined the Uncommon Hospitality family in 2022 and is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and administering the financial records including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll entry, record keeping and all related financial. Prior to joining Uncommon Hospitality, he worked in various accounting and finance related roles ranging from accounting specialist to financial analyst. Originally from Jamaica, Orlando migrated to the United States where he earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Maine in Fort Kent and an MBA in Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
Orlando resides in Hollis with his wife, Liz, son, Malachi, and daughter, Mila.
